Mango Cottage is situated in Orlando’s suburbia. She is a very old house (built in the 1940′s by my husband’s father) planted on 3/4 of an acre just outside the city limits. When she was born there was no city here, just sand and scrub and peaceful nature. Over the years the city has grown up around her, encased her… though everything has changed, she has remained relatively the same. Still on well and septic, large trees, grass and brush and a variety of plants… many having come and gone. She is an oasis.
Here at Mango Cottage we are homesteading, experimenting in self-sufficiency and permaculture, creating a life as we like it. We invite you to come along with us.
